Project Proposals are invited from student members for kick starting campus companies through IEDC cell of Pondicherry Engineering College supported by Ministry of MSME, Government of India. The purpose of the small dose of assistance is to support students/ex-students of technology try out their innovative ideas (processes and products) at the laboratory or workshop stage and beyond (to the extent possible) – to carry forward the idea from its mere conception to ‘know-how ‘ and then to ‘do how’ stage.

Name of the Scheme : “Entrepreneurial and Managerial Development of SMEs through Incubators”
About the Scheme : The scheme aims at nurturing innovative business ideas (new and/or ingenious technology, processes, products, procedures, etc.) which
could be commercialized in a year.
Level of Funding : Maximum of Rs.6.25 lakh per business idea.
Who can Apply : Anybody (individual/Micro and Small Enterprises) having innovative business idea at near commercialization stage.
How to Apply : Applications may be submitted in the prescribed format (Pls refer attachment)
Number of Proposals : Limited to a maximum 10 Proposals

Selection Procedure : 1. All the submitted proposals should be presented by the Incubatees (individuals/Micro and Small Enterprises) in front of Managing Committee of IEDC of PEC.
2. The Managing Committee shall approve the proposal after scrutinizing the innovation /feasibility components for further processing at the office of Development Commissioner (MSME), New Delhi for the release of funds (Pls refer Scheme Document attached)
3. The number of proposals is limited to a maximum of 10
